Aurora, IL, June 7, 2021 – Scientel Solutions, a leading US-based technology integrator, held its 4th annual “Putting for Veterans” golf outing to raise money for local Veteran charities at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, IL. The event raised over $100,000, the largest raise to date. The proceeds from the tournament will be divided between Naperville Responds for Veterans (NRFV) and the Aurora Veterans Advisory Council (AVAC).

“Four years ago when we began this event, our goal was to help Veterans in any way we could, no matter what the amount raised ended up being. Seeing how both NRFV and AVAC have been impacted by these events makes us so grateful to be partnered with such prestigious organizations”.
Santos continued, “Being able to present deserving Veterans including: James Harvey – Marines; Josh Davis – Army; Walter Phillips – Army; & David Stover – Marines; with a Quilt of Valor is both rewarding and emotional for me. These men have given so much to our country and rewarding them with a small token of appreciation such as this quilt is incredible to witness.”
Dan Jurjovec, President of Naperville Responds for Veterans said, “This is incredible, we were fortunate enough to have Nelson step on our Board of Directors a couple of years ago. He knows first hand how many Veterans this donation helps. I’m blown away, thank you!”
Randy A. Fisher, Vice-Chair, Aurora Veterans Advisory Council and a Vietnam Veteran, 1970-1971 said “The generosity of Scientel Solutions means that Veterans with PTSD can receive a fully trained service dog, helping them with their life skills and giving them a pathway to success”.
