Aurora, IL. – Earlier this week, Scientel Solutions (Scientel) hosted its 8th Annual Putting for Veterans Golf Outing at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, Illinois. This year’s event raised an impressive $120,000 for the second year in a row!
At Scientel Solutions, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s at the heart of who we are,” said Nelson Santos, Founder and CEO of Scientel Solutions. “This year holds special meaning for me personally, as it’s my first time hosting Putting for Veterans as a U.S. citizen. To be able to honor those who’ve served this country, now as a fellow citizen, is incredibly humbling. Through events like this and the generous support of our sponsors, we’re able to make a real difference in the lives of veterans. It’s a privilege to bring together our community in support of this deserving cause.”
One of the event’s most noteworthy traditions is the presentation of quilts to veterans by the renowned Quilt of Valor Foundation. During this year’s ceremony, six local veterans were honored with handmade Quilts of Valor in recognition of their service.
The funds raised this year will support a range of causes determined by the above organizations, including scholarship programs, financial aid for utility bills, and essential home repairs and modifications for our heroes. Putting for Veterans continues to expand its impact and reach, highlighting Scientel’s commitment to honoring and supporting those who have served.
This year, Scientel had over forty sponsors for the event, making it the most ever, ranging from hole sponsors to event sponsors and everything in between. The event’s top sponsors included: 605 Holdings, KWCC, APS Data Technologies, Glass Solutions, ACB&T, Watch Lab, Bardwell Senior Living, Naperville Responds for Veterans, Cordogan, Clark & Associates, Penn Gaming, Homeside Financial, Jet Speed, and Anheuser-Busch.
